Sister Lorna is a member of the Sisters of Mercy order and has been a very active member of her congregation.

After developing Macular Degeneration she was struggling to keep up with the mail from people in her congregation as well as the day to day information about her village. “People don’t appreciate how easy it is to feel left out of things when you can’t read” she said.

A friend told her about the ClearReader reading machine and she contacted Jeff Landers from Quantum.

Sister Lorna found that she was able to continue reading with ClearReader and best of all, was able to purchase a unit with funds from her Home Care Package under the MyAgedCare Program.

Thanks to ClearReader she has returned to her daily routine of reading Scripture in the morning and can now read all the mail and newsletters she needs to remain an active member of her community.

The purchase of products such as ClearReader, that enable a person to remain active and independent, can be funded as part of a Home Care Package. If you would like more information on this please call us on 1300 883 853.
