OpenBook® converts printed documents or graphic-based text into an electronic text format on your PC, using quality speech and the latest optical character recognition (OCR) technology. It is an essential tool of independence for many students and will convert Word files, HTML, and PDF files into text, speech, Braille or audio files. Combined with a digital camera such as PEARL, it will also provide classroom access to printed documents and text books.
