Occupational Therapy practitioners (OT’s) enable people of all ages to live life to its fullest by helping them live better.

In the new world of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and MyAgedCare, OT’s are playing an increasingly important role in the assessment and care of people with Low Vision.

However, not all OT’s received training about vision rehabilitation and vision aids as part of their professional education. Or it may be that they need to call on specialist help when providing services to a person with Low Vision.

If you are working with an OT please let them know that our Low Vision Consultants are available to assist. That may involve helping with a vision aid assessment, trialling of equipment and report writing.
