Reading Re-invented Expo
Come and try the world’s most advanced solution for Information Access
On Monday 9th April, our national roadshow of OrCam MyEye 2.0 kicks off in Melbourne. Mr. Leon Paull, International Business Development Manager from OrCam will be touring major cities in Australia to launch OrCam MyEye 2.0, between Monday 9th and Friday 13th of April.
Then over the following months we will be visiting regional and metropolitan areas of NSW, Queensland, Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia.
Lots of people in Australia struggle to read. Some are blind or vision impaired, some are losing their sight to diseases such as macular degeneration, and some have cognitive challenges such as dyslexia or acquired brain injury.
Reading is fundamental to living an independent and fulfilling life.
The revolutionary OrCam MyEye 2.0 device empowers everyone to read again. OrCam re-invents reading for people of all ages and at all stages of life. OrCam MyEye 2.0 is an intuitive device with a small lightweight camera that is worn as a clip-on to any spectacle frame. It instantly reads any printed or digital text aloud:
• Reads books, newspapers, menus, smartphone screens, and more;
• Recognises faces of friends, colleagues and family;
• Identifies products by reading barcodes, banknotes and colours.
